About Nancy Herrera

Ms. Herrera earned her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School and her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago. 

Ms. Herrera was inspired to pursue a legal career when she worked as a paralegal at a prominent Chicago family law firm. That is where her passion for family law emerged. 

Ms. Herrera concentrates her practice in the area of family law, representing parties in the litigation and resolution of matrimonial and family related matters.  Ms. Herrera guides clients on a wide array of divorce-related issues including custody disputes, analysis of financial matters, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and the disposition of marital and non-marital assets. She is a Certified Financial Litigator and has obtained her Collaborative Law Training. Ms. Herrera has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star by Thomson Reuters. She earned her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School and her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago.

Ms. Herrera is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois.

Ms. Herrera is fluent in Spanish.
