About Erin E. Gallagher
Ms. Gallagher counsels on a wide range of divorce and family law related matters including those involving complex financial issues, the division of property, domestic violence, child-related issues, maintenance, and pre/post-nuptial agreements.
Ms. Gallagher is an associate attorney at Beermann LLP. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Gallagher attended law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Gallagher served as Vice President of the Moot Court Honor Society through which she refined her written and oral advocacy by competing in several moot court competitions, including the National Moot Court Competition, where she won the award for Best Brief in the Chicagoland area and surrounding regions.
In addition, Ms. Gallagher was actively involved in several organizations providing family law related services, including Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, where Ms. Gallagher utilized her 711 licensure to serve as Guardian ad Litem to children in various domestic relations proceedings. Ms. Gallagher also received mediation certification through the Center for Conflict Resolution and has acted as a mediator in family law related matters. In addition to graduating with her law degree, Ms. Gallagher holds a certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution and received Dean’s List recognition each semester of law school.
Ms. Gallagher was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2024. Prior to her admission to the Illinois bar, Ms. Gallagher began her career at Beermann LLP as a law clerk, assisting with financial analysis, legal research and drafting, and general case management.
