About Britnee Ann N. Hart

Britnee Ann N. Hart focuses her practice in the area of Family law.  She counsels clients on a wide range of issues relating to divorce, such as parenting time and parental decision making, child support, maintenance, property division, and post-divorce issues. 

Britnee is client-focused and strives to develop strong relationships with her clients to provide the best legal services possible while placing their goals first. 

Britnee Ann Nicole Hart began her legal career as a law clerk and continued as an associate attorney in Lake County.  Since her admission to the Illinois Bar, Britnee has worked exclusively in family law.  She has experience working with clients whose cases involve difficult issues such as domestic violence, substance abuse, mental illness, and parental alienation.

Prior to joining Beermann, Britnee worked as a legal extern for the Federal Defender where she began developing her skills working with clients and drafting legal memorandum.  She previously volunteered to provide free legal aid at the Louisiana Capital Assistance Center and the John Howard Association.

 Britnee graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law.  While in law school, she worked with the Family Advocacy Clinic acting as a Guardian Ad Litem and Children’s Representative as well as representing parents in child abuse and neglect cases working to regain custody of their children.
