Family Law Partner and AFCC Illinois Chapter President Karen V. Paige and Beermann LLP host the 2025 Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) Annual Conference.
This year’s conference focused on Domestic Violence, focusing on an interdisciplinary approach to this complex issue. Panelists included Hon. Sabra L. Ebersole, Carrie Flanigan of the Lake County Children’s Advocacy Center, Dr. Kerry E. Smith, Ph.D, and Attorney David M. Sternfield of Davis Friedman. The keynote address was delivered by Debra Pogrund Stark, Professor of Law at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
