Partner James M. Quigley receives recognition for his presidency of the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy (AAML) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s alumni magazine, On Wisconsin.

As president of the Illinois Chapter, Mr. Quigley leads the largest chapter of the AAML in the nation for the 2021-2022 term. AAML’s stated mission is to provide leadership that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of Family Law. There are currently more than 1650 Fellows in fifty states. Fellows of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers are amongst the leading practitioners in the field of family law.

Since his appointment as President of the Illinois Chapter of the AAML, Mr. Quigley has initiated a scholarship fund for incoming African-American law students and has awarded grants on behalf of the AAML to non-profit organizations making a difference in local communities.

In addition to being part of the AAML, Mr. Quigley is designated as 1 of 100 of the country’s top Family Law litigators in the exclusive American College of Family Trial Lawyers (ACFTL). He is also Board Certified in Family Trial Law through the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA).
