Divorce and Family Law Partners Thomas T. Field and Morgan L. Stogsdill recently conducted a hearing on behalf of their client, Jennifer Hudson in her ongoing child support battle. Thomas T. Field was featured in the Chicago Tribune for his ongoing work in the Jennifer Hudson child support case. In the article, the author highlights Mr. Field’s expert questioning in covering the work history of Ms. Hudson’s ex-fiance, David Otunga. Furthermore, Mr. Field had Mr. Otunga disclose the salaries for his various acting jobs. While discussing Otunga’s work history, a work hiatus involving projects that had fallen through was revealed. These questions were asked to support Thomas Field’s argument that Otunga should seek more steady employment, claiming he only works a few days each month.

The hearing for the Jennifer Hudson child support case cited in the article was the latest in a five-month legal battle over the split couple’s eight year-old son. Ms. Hudson and Mr. Otunga separated last year after nearly ten years together.
